As a Chartered Engineer (CEng, MIMechE, MRAeS) recognized in the Top 50 Women in Engineering by The Telegraph and WES, I’ve spent my career leading high-stakes engineering programs at the highest level. During 14 years at Rolls-Royce, I led 40-strong manufacturing engineering teams, ran graduate and apprentice assessment centres, and served as Technical Authority across flagship civil and defense assembly programs, including TP400, EJ200, Adour, and Ultrafan. I delivered critical nuclear manufacturing capabilities for Astute and Dreadnought submarines, and secured £1M in MOD funding for defense support services.
My technical precision extends directly into the pit lane, where I apply hands-on mechanical repair skills, setup, and troubleshooting to my own competitive track and off-road race motorbikes, as well as into the air as a glider and solo light aircraft pilot.
My academic foundation, an MEng with Distinction from UWE Bristol, winning the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) University Prize, and becoming the youngest ever elected RAeS Council Member, launched a career built on bridging practical, high-consequence execution with complex systems thinking. Today, as a senior consultant at Burge Hughes Walsh, I train and guide engineers across world-class organizations, giving me direct insight into what major employers demand from top-tier talent.
